Wage Review



Reviews are given every six months, in the months of January and July. During this process, you will find out about your job performance and earn your raise!


Ratings and Raises range from "Needs Improvement" to "Outstanding". Those with an "Outstanding" rating have the opportunity to advance to our Management Training Program.



National Crew Discount



The National Employee Discount provides eligible employees with a 30% discount at any participating McDonald’s restaurant –at any time without a dollar or item limit. This discount is not valid with any other offer, discount, coupon or purchase of an Arch Card. This discount will take up to $10.00 off of your order.



Employee Meals and Uniforms



Upon accepting a position at McDonald's, you will receive 2 uniforms (pants & shirts), a hat/visor, an apron and a name tag. You will also receive FREE meals while working.



Crew Incentives



BSV (Brand Standard Visit)

​The BSV is a yearly visit designed to ensure McDonald’s restaurants are meeting McDonald’s brand standards of Quality, Service, Cleanliness, Food Safety, and Safety and Security.

Earn $50.00 if you are working during the BSV and score above a 90% in all categories.


CEV (Customer Experience Visit)

​The CEV is a quarterly visit designed to evaluate McDonald’s standards focused on the everyday customer experience.

Earn $20.00 if you are working during the CEV and score above a 90%. Win an additional $20.00 bonus if you guess the correct day we get our CEV on!


CAR COUNT

Earn $20.00 if you are working and beat the current car count record.



Insurance & 401k



We offer Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance and Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance for all employees working an average of 30+ hours per week. You must be employed for 60 days before you are eligible for insurance benefits.


Once you reach the position of Shift Manager, are at least 21 years of age and have worked a minimum of 1000 hours you will be eligible to participate in our 401k program.

What is ourlounge.com?

ourlounge is an optional platform that McDonald's restaurants can elect to use to provide an easy and interactive website for restaurant crew and managers. ourlounge provides crew and managers with access to tools and information they can use in their restaurant. It's the "one-stop shop" for most McDonald's-related information. Also available in a mobile app for iPhone and Android users.


What can crew & managers access on ourlounge.com?

Crew and managers can access schedules, the latest McDonald's promotions, benefits information (McDPerks, Archways to Opportunity, etc.), training (CAMPUS & Fred), Manager’s Corner (manager’s news, resources & tools), good news stories and more!



Archways To Opportunity





McDonald’s and its independent franchisees are committed to helping employees further their education and achieve their dreams.


To help anyone who works at a company-owned or independently franchised restaurant, we created Archways to Opportunity, a comprehensive education strategy with multiple programs that give people an opportunity to grow and learn – no matter where they are on their journey.


Programs are available to McDonald’s employees and the employees of participating independent franchisees. Here are just a few ways Archways to Opportunity can help employees on the path to success:

•Improve English skills

•Earn a high school diploma

•Work toward a college degree

•Get help making an education and career plan with advisors


This benefit is extended to immediate family of eligible employees of participating restaurants.



Get Your High School Diploma



You can graduate from high school by taking classes online – whenever and wherever it’s convenient for you – through Career Online High School. And, you may be able to apply credits from high school courses you’ve already completed. Career Online High School is free for all eligible employees. McDonald’s Corporation covers 100% of tuition.


Career Online High School gives you the flexibility you need to balance work and school. The program is free to eligible employees. You can:

1.Earn a diploma at your own pace.

2.Gain real-world career skills with adult-focused class content.

3.Get support from academic coaches to help you along the way.



Earn Your College Degree



If you are ready to get started working toward your college degree, we offer programs to help make your goals a reality – in a way that fits your lifestyle.


Our programs can help you explore educational opportunities while getting financial support from McDonald’s to make your educational journey easier.


Crew and part-time managers are eligible for $2,500 in annual tuition assistance!


Full-time managers are eligible for $3,000 in annual tuition assistance!


Since January 2018, our organization has awarded $113,657.48 in tuition assistance.



English Under The Arches



We want you to feel confident in all that you do. If you are bilingual, this includes being comfortable talking in English. Whether you are speaking to customers or staff, your voice should be heard. English Under the Arches® can help.


With the support of English Under the Arches, you can improve your English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
